Cattle


Judging of Cattle Classes will commence at 10.00am.

All Prize-winners to Parade in the Grand Parade at 3pm.

Ear-marking of all animals in Exhibitor Bred Classes will be examined by Stewards.

Any animal showing evidence of Warble Infestation will not be admitted to the Showground.

The Society reserves the right to cancel any class or classes due to insufficient entries.

CHAMPIONSHIPS TO BE JUDGED BY BREED JUDGES, POINTS DECISION.

The COLLINGWOOD Supreme Championship Perpetual Trophy for the best animal, shown in the Dairy Cattle Classes (Friesians, Jerseys). Champion Female in each breed will parade for the trophy.

CHAMPION and RESERVE CHAMPION ROSETTES will be awarded plus £20 and £10 prize monies.

The ERNIE KNAGGS Supreme Championship Perpetual Trophy for the best animal, any sex, in the Beef Cattle Classes (Simmental, Charolais, Limousin, Aberdeen Angus, Beef Cattle). Champion Male and Female of each breed will parade for the Trophy.

CHAMPION and RESERVE CHAMPION ROSETTES will be awarded plus £15 and £5 prize monies.

The STOCKTON CORPORATION Challenge Cup for the best Champion Bull shown in the Cattle Classes.

The PERCY WILSON Memorial Perpetual Trophy for the best female shown in the Cattle Classes, bred by an exhibitor residing within 20 miles of the Showground, with a SPECIAL ROSETTE.

IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Challenge Cup for the best Champion Female show in the Cattle Classes.
